The (optional) conference dinner will take place on Monday, July 29th at Gasthof Neuwirt in Garching. The cost will be 40 euros, which should be paid in cash at the workshop on the morning of July 29th (note that this is separate from the workshop fee). The menu for the (buffet) dinner is as follows:
- Bread: rolls, pretzels, and rye bread with butter
- Appetizer: mixed salad with balsamico- and yoghurt dressing, slaw with bacon, cucumber salad, noodle salad with tomatoes and bell pepper, sausage salad with pickles, cherry tomatoes and red onions, Bavarian potato salad with chives, small meatballs
- Main course: Bavarian crusted pork roast with dark beer sauce, stripes of turkey with a creamy mushroom sauce, "Allgaeuer Kaesespaetzle" spaetzle with cheese and homemade fried onions
- Served with: two kinds of dumplings, red cabbage, seasonal vegetables, and parsley potatoes
- Dessert (will be served): "Kaiserschmarrn" sweet cut-up pancakes with apple sauce, Bavarian cream
