From Plato to Newton and Einstein, cosmology has always been a science that borders on philosophy. Questions like the origin of the Universe, its ultimate fate, the meaning of time, the structure of space, the existence of other dimensions, have attracted the attention of scientists and philosophers alike, and also of every person interested in the foundations of knowledge. The aim of this event is to provide for a dialogue between cosmologists and philosophers which goes beyond the respective technical language, in search of common ground and wider perspectives.
