DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Juan Pablo López Ruiz\n\nIn this analysis\, the $K^
{-}\\gamma^{()}\\to K^{-} \\pi^{0}$ Primakoff production at the COMPASS ex
periment at CERN is studied using data taken in 2012 with the 190 GeV hadr
on beam and the Ni target. Measurements of the cross section of this proce
ss are of interest as a test of predictions of Chiral Perturbation Theory
in the strangeness sector. The sought-after final state is isolated throug
h a detailed event selection that includes particle identification using C
EDAR detectors and the Kaon Trigger\, $\\pi^{0}$ reconstruction through th
e energy deposition in ECAL2 from the dominant two-photon decay\, and diff
erent kinematic cuts. The resulting distribution of the selected events sh
ows contributions corresponding to the $K^(892)$ and the $K_2(1430)$ reson
ances. As a result\, $1954\\pm55$ Primakoff events were detected. The find
ings of this work will be used for the future analyses at COMPASS and AMBE
