I will talk about a new application of chiral symmetry called hard pion chiral perturbation theory. I will describe the background and why it is expected to work and discuss applications to: · pion vector and scalar formfactors at high q2 · Semileptonic decays of B and D mesons · Charmonium decays to two pions
