The Universe Cluster is a research institution with a very broad scope covering different areas of research and with a strongly interest to bring together people from various communities. Communication and an understanding for other fields of research is important. Therefore, the Cluster Coordinators Prof. Stephan Paul and Prof. Andreas Burkert will offer the PhD lectures.
Depending on the student's background, they visit the complementary lecture, i.e. astronomers attend the "Introductory Course on Particle and Nuclear Physics" and nuclear and particle physicists attend the "Introductory Course on Astrophysics and Cosmology".
*Participation is obligatory for Cluster PhD students, i.e. those financed by the Cluster.*
