Description
The past few years have seen a growing interest in using precision data from the cosmic microwave background anisotropies and the large-scale structure distribution to probe the absolute neutrino mass scale. I review the signatures of neutrino masses in cosmological observables, especially their degeneracies with other cosmological parameters such as those describing dark energy. I discuss how future high-redshift probes such as weak gravitational lensing may help to break these degeneracies.
