Recently it has become apparent that there is a close connection between two modern descriptions of scattering amplitudes, the CHY formalism and the framework of positive geometries. This connection is facilitated by calculatingpushforwards through the scattering equations. To further investigate this remarkable connection, we develop tools to calculate these pushforwards without the need to explicitly solve the scattering equations. Our results use techniques from computational algebraic geometry. (Based on [2206.14196]).
