Description
The recent development of quantum computers yields new possibilities for simulating high-energy processes from first principles. In this talk, a general overview is given for the potentiality of quantum computers in tackling some of the unsolved problems in particle physics. Some of the major issues in achieving such goals in the short term on quantum computers with limited resources will be discussed. The general frameworks of quantum computers and algorithms is also briefly touched upon.
