Meeting participants: U. Wiedemann, L. Fabbietti, A. Milov, S. Floeechinger , P. Salabura, G. Manca, A. Dainese, R. Arnaldi
We discussed how to proceed for the preparation of the document looking as a starting point to the
scheme proposed by Urs and Laura.
We agreed that the manuscript should contain a general introduction highlighting not only the phase diagram of nuclear matter with particular focus on the extreme conditions but also laying out the connection to other fields, such as astrophysics and hadron physics.
We also agreed that we need to collect highlights and important topics in the form of bullet points
and snippets of text that once agreed upon we will organise into a coherent text.
Hence, the structure of the manuscript is not decided yet.
For example it is shortly discussed whether we divide the different facilities into separated chapters or into topics where the potential of different facilities are discussed.
More discussion on the basis of the highlights list will follow.
The next step required is that the working group participants provide in the common google doc
the input for the highlights and mandatory topic to be discussed in form of bullets by
Saturday 25th of May
Once we will have a first list we will meet and discuss the content and how to arranged them into a coherent document.
We discuss how to harvest the opinion of the community and, aside considering the input provided in the form of proposal (we remind the working group members that each of them signed up to revise a certain number of proposal which should be included in the preparation of the bullets list), we come to the conclusion of organising a town meeting at CERN in the week of
18-22 september
The following doodle should be filled in by the working group members to find the best day.
The proposal by Urs and Laura concerning this town meeting is to present the plan for the document and invite different people to present certain topic. The list of people and topic should be decided once we have converged on a list of bullets for the document.
There are minutes attached to this event.
