The Excellence Cluster ORIGINS hosts their annual Science Week this year at beautiful Kloster Irsee in the Swabia district of Bavaria.  We will be meeting in their new modern extension "die Küferei".

The agenda will include overview and science highlight talks from our research units, connectors and infrastructures, our annual General Assembly, PhD Awards talks and Laudations, Seed Money posters and as well as ORIGINS 2 sessions and a group hike.

Kloster Irsee is a 75 min drive from Munich/Garching, a 90 min drive from the Munich airport, a 1 hour drive from the airport Memmingen and can also be reached by train to nearby (7 km away) Kaufbeuren, with good connections from Munich and Zurich.

A group bus from Munich leaving at around 13:30 on Sunday December 3rd and returning to Munich on Wednesday December 6th early evening will be organized.

In contrast to previous years, each participant will pay for the costs (daily conference lump sums, hotel incl. breakfast) at Irsee before leaving the venue and will then be reimbursed for these costs (venue & travel but excluding any cancellation or additional costs) through the travel reimbursement application. A LMU and TUM ID will be provided.
