Escape winter time and enjoy a pleasant combination of school and beach! We would like invite you to the Cosmology at the Beach School from
12-16 January 2009 in beautiful Los Cabos, Baja California, Mexico.

The event is directed at scientists at PhD and postdoctoral level. For members of the Excellence Cluster Universe accomodation is free.

The winter school is a joint venture of the Excellence Cluster Universe, the Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics (BCCP) and the Instituto Avanzado de Cosmología in Mexico City.

A range of topics in cosmology will be taught at the conference by eminent scholars in the field (see the preliminary list on this page). There will also be time for students and postdocs to present posters and give short talks. We hope that the beauty of the natural and cultural environment will act as a catalyst for young researchers to interact and generate new ideas. We encourage a diverse group of advanced graduate students and postdocs interested in attending to contact members of one of the three organizing institutions for information.

Please register by filling in the registration form on this website.
