The study of the dynamic Universe on all astronomical scales allows us to pinpoint the underlying physical processes that not only lead to the formation of stars and planets from the turbulent interstellar medium, but also determine the structure of the Universe on the largest observable scales.
The symposium is organised in honour of Professor Andi Burkert, to celebrate his long career.
The symposium highlights the various dynamical processes covered by Andi's work and brings together leading international senior and junior researchers on the subjects.
The topics that will be covered in the meeting are:
- Star and planet formation
- the Galactic Centre
- the ISM in extreme environments
- Galaxy evolution
- Cosmology
There will be plenty of time for discussion and interaction.
