Description
COMPASS is a multi-purpose fixed-target experiment at the CERN SPS.One of its main goals is to probe the strong interaction at low energies by studying the excitation spectrum of light mesons. Excited light mesons produced at COMPASS are studied via their decays into various final states.
Here, we will focus on the $K^0 K^-$ channel, which allows us to study mesons with isospin $I=1$ and spin-parity $J^{PC} = (even)^{++}$ up to a high invariant mass range
We will give a comprehensive overview of the analysis procedure and discuss the new measurements of several light mesons.
