In 2012 BaBar used 𝜏 → K0 h (π0) 𝜈 to measure the CP asymmetry of K0 → π+ π-. They observed a 2.8σ deviation from the standard model expectation, raising the question of whether the decay of 𝜏 to K0 h (π0) is CP violating.
The goal at Belle is to measure the CP asymmetries of 𝜏 → K0 π (π0) 𝜈 and 𝜏 → K0 K (π0) 𝜈 separately, without assuming that the only source of CP asymmetry is the K0 decay. I will present the current progress of this study.
