Description
Recent measurements of angular observables in the rare decay B->K*mu+mu- show some deviations from Standard Model expectations. If these tensions withstand further experimental scrutiny, they could be due to underestimated theory uncertainties or due to new physics. In the first part of the seminar I will review the dominant sources of theory uncertainties and hope for some discussion on their robustness. In the second part, I will discuss which models of new physics could account for the anomaly and in which other observables this would leave an imprint.
