Description
Exhibition & Discussion (in English)
This ArtScience event will challenge how we think about art and science. The evening will begin with six untitled images, three of them from the discipline of science as well as three works of art. The public will be asked to judge which image belongs to which discipline. Then, leading artists and scientists will explain their works and discuss what they have in common on and what they can learn from each other. They will talk about how emerging technologies, parallel innovations and collaborative work can be harnessed for a deeper understanding of reality and how to represent it. Also, the Antarctic IceCube project will be introduced as an example of an exceptional experimental installation that challenges our perception.
