Description

Tree-level B-meson decays are usually assumed to be free of new physics contributions, however, theoretical uncertainties in corresponding observables are not under good control and sizeable effects can not be excluded in principle. I will discuss some examples and the role of indirect constraints on tree-level contributions from FCNC B-decays. Possible consequences are modifications of the measurement of the CKM angle gamma.
