    Effective field theory methods allow to analyze the impact of physics beyond the Standard Model on precision observables in low-energy experiments, e.g. flavour physics, in a model-independent way and also allow to correlate effects in different types of experiments.     Given a particular UV completion beyond the SM, flavor constraints from various low-energy flavor observables can provide combined powerful constraints on the new physics parameter space, depending on the model at hand.
