ODSL Journal Club: What’s out there in the probabilistic modeling language world

As the scientific community moves to more complex model building, the number of probabilistic programing languages leaking into the physical sciences is increasing. I will introduce some of the most popular packages, speak about their strengths and weaknesses and share my experience with them. I hope to hear feedback from the audience regarding their experience to get an idea of what people are using.

As usual, the format will be a short presentation (about 15 minutes) followed by approximately 45 minutes of discussion.
