ORIGINS Visitor Talk: EFT approaches for flavour and B anomalies

The anomalies in semileptonic B decays might indicate first signs of physics beyond the SM. In this respect, many extension of the SM might accomodate them and provide interesting signals to be probed in the near future. I will focus on a recent attempt of constructing EFT for New Physics and flavour data, focusing on viable leptoquark solutions for B anomalies.
