Upcoming experiments aim to improve the sensitivity to mu-> e flavour changing processes by several orders of magnitude, allowing to probe scales up to 10^4 TeV. I will briefly review LFV in the mu-e sector, then explore what one can learn, in bottom-up EFT, from stringent constraints on few observables.
