NuPECC has launched recently a new NuPECC Long Range Plan (https://nupecc.org/?display=lrp2024/main ).
After a successful call for inputs to this LRP which allowed the nuclear physics community for expression its plans in the 154 submitted contributions, the work on the LRP will continue in the Thematical Working Groups (TWG).
TWG 8 is dedicated to "Nuclear Physics Tools".
This TWG will be composed of two sub-groups:
Detectors and Experimental techniques
Computing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
This is the kickoff meeting of the
Thematic Working Group 8 (Detectors and Experimental Techniques) of the NuPECC LRP2024.
We would like to drive your attention to the "Open Mic" session,
on 18 April morning for short (5+3 min) contributions from the community to
focus on specific detector technologies and novel approaches.
Please announce your contributions by e-mail to:
indicating as e-mail subject OPEN MIC SESSION.
