Description

The Origins Data Science Lab (ODSL) is organizing a workshop on Simulation-Based Inference (SBI).

The goal is to connect researchers working with SBI but also to provide groups with inference problems in their research and no previous experience in SBI the necessary tools to get started.

The workshop will take place in the MIAPbP Seminar Room on 20.11. and 21.11. Please make sure to register soon so we can estimate the number of participants.

The preliminary schedule includes an overview lecture and talks on Monday and hands-on sessions on Tuesday.

For Monday we are looking for researchers interested in giving a talk about their work. This could be groups already working with (any) SBI techniques, but we also very much encourage researchers to just present an inference problem they are facing in their domain to enable discussion about possible solutions.

If you would like to give a talk please contact us via mail at tom.magorsch@tum.de.
