Upcoming cosmological surveys will not only provide more precise data, they will also push the frontier of precision cosmology towards smaller and smaller scales. This development is particularly interesting in terms of dark matter (DM) physics since non-standard DM models tend to affect structure formation at the smallest cosmological scales. I will give an overview on some of the difficulties related to small-scale cosmology and present our newest constraints on different DM models.
