The meeting will start Thursday morning with open lectures in Sal B, Rydbergsalen, Department of Physics. In the afternoon, the NuPECC meeting will be held in rooms nearby, inside the Department of Physics. The visiting address is

The second part of the NuPECC meeting on Friday morning will be held in the meeting room "Hollywood", inside "Kårhuset", which also hosts the Technical Faculty's administration. "Kårhuset" is located right next to the tram and bus stop called "Lund LTH" (see below).
The photograph shows the main entrance towards Professorsgatan. Another entrance is at Sölvegatan 14. This is the main student entrance and even closer to Rydbergsalen. There will be "NuPECC" signs posted and probably PhD students at both entrances to guide you to Rydbergsalen (H418).
The Department is in walking distance from the hotels in the center of Lund. Walking is recommended in Lund in any case. Bus or tram stops near the Department of Physics are named "Fysiologen" (bus line 7, on Sölvegatan), "Professorsgatan" (bus lines 7, 103, 159, 160, 170, 171, Skåneexpressen 5), or "Lund LTH" (tram line 1, bus lines 103, 170, 171). From the stop "Lund LTH" we will also take the tram line 1 to ESS on Friday afternoon. Tram line 1 starts and ends at "Lund C" (main station).
For those SIGNED up for the ESS site visit on Friday afternoon, please note the
following instructions from the ESS Visitor's Office:
- You need to show a photo-ID to get the access badge.
- You are not allowed to wear skirt/dress or shorts. Long trousers are mandatory.
- ESS has safety shoes, but if a size is missing, they provide over shoes that you put outside your own
shoes. High heels are not permitted.
- Lockers and a luggage room exist.
