Workshops
MIAPP workshops are organized by external and local coordinators. The workshop program typically consists of regular seminars, but leaves much time for collaborations and discussions between the participants in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. The Garching Research Campus with its numerous research institutions as well as its proximity to the city of Munich and the Bavarian Alps offers an inspiring environment. Participants will be provided with a workplace in the MIAPP building and will be accommodated in a hotel/apartment in Garching or Munich. External participants receive financial support.
The coordinators of each workshop are the proposer and a minimum of three co-organizers (at least one of them Munich based). They will outline the details of the workshop and consider the applications for the respective workshop. The program will start in May 2014. Applications for participation may be submitted starting April 2013.
We invite the scientific community to submit workshop proposals. Instructions for preparing proposals can be found here.
