A new method for subtraction of infrared divergences at NNLO in QCD

The computation of cross sections and differential distributions at higher orders in perturbative QCD, crucial for precision collider phenomenology, necessitates efficient and general methods for subtracting the infrared divergences that arise in the intermediate stages of the computation. I will discuss a recently introduced method for subtraction up to next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QCD that tries to conjugate the minimality of the subtraction terms with the analyticity of their integration.
