Factorization of rapidity divergences, and rapidity anomalous dimension

The rapidity divergences appear during consideration of the soft-gluon interaction between particles with finite $k_T$. In the talk, I review various aspects of the rapidity divergences and related evolution equations for transverse momentum dependent distribution. The main emphasis is made on the geometric properties of divergences and their consequences.
