In her lecture, Claudia Peus discusses the issue of which conditions enable and drive forward innovation in research. Here, she will first look at the importance of innovation for our society. She then explains which influential factors have been proven to be particular significant from a social sciences perspective, at the level of the individual, the team and the organization. Finally, practical recommendations for action are discussed.
