Town Meeting
Nuclear Physics Long Range Plan 2024 Bucharest, April 15th – 17th, 2024
The upcoming NuPECC Long Range Plan 2024 Town Meeting will take place in Bucharest, Romania, from April 15th (noon) to 17th (noon), 2024. The venue will be the Marriott Hotel in the centre of Bucharest, (https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/buhro-jw-marriott-bucharest-grand-hotel/overview/) located in Calea 13 Septembrie 90, Sector 5, 050726 Bucharest, Romania.
The aim of this meeting is to bring together the Nuclear Physics community in Europe to discuss the long range perspectives in our field and decide how best to develop it in the next ten to fifteen years. A draft of the LRP2024 Report and its Recommendations will be presented and discussed during the meeting.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about and discuss the strategic choices of the community for the future of Nuclear Physics research in Europe.
The nuclear physics community as a whole is welcome to attend.
NuPECC offers an opportunity to cover local expenses for up to 30 Early Career Researchers (up to 5 years after PhD).
Although we will not levy a conference fee, we urge you to register for the town meeting on the meeting website https://indico.ph.tum.de/event/7593/ at your earliest convenience, but not later than March 22, 2024 – this will greatly facilitate the organisation of the event.
