20–21 Oct 2025
MPE, Munich
Europe/Berlin timezone

The purpose of the Large Scale Structure Days is to bring together all the people in southern Germany and beyond who are interested in the LSS of the Universe with the aim of fostering fruitful exchanges and collaborations among them. The big question for this year will be the transition from stage 3 to stage 4 surveys. Where do we stand with and what did we learn from stage 3 surveys, and where are we going with and what are the challenges for stage 4 surveys?

Some topics that will be discussed include:

  • Galaxy clustering
  • Beyond 2-point statistics
  • Cluster physics
  • Gravitational lensing
  • Non-standard cosmological models
  • Numerical Simulations

This event will take place at MPE and will be a two full-days in person meeting on Oct 20+21. The schedule is now set up and you can check it out in the timetable tab on the left. The list of confirmed speakers include:

  • Jose Bernal (Cantabria)
  • Adriaan Duivenvoorden (MPA)
  • Daniel Gruen (LMU)
  • Hendrik Hildebrandt (Bochum)
  • Azadeh Moradinezhad (Annecy)
