After that, you'll need to contact the Holel directly (you might mention the workshop title and ask if you could still get the special TUM rate then).
Note: There will be other large events in the Munich area during the workshop, which tends to make hotel rooms rare and expensive.

If you prefer to arrange accommodation yourself, there are several hotels in Garching just one or two U-Bahn stops from Garching Forschungzentrum, where the Excellence Cluster and MIAPP (workshop venue) are located. For hotels in Munich north of the city centre and close to the U-Bahn U6 line, reaching Garching Forschungzentrum via underground train should take less than 30 mins, with trains leaving every 10 or 20 mins.
